The numerous waterways, canals, and navigable roads in the Venetian Region have always played a key role in history: towns, industries, farms grew up around these important sources of life which until hundred years ago, were used for the transportation of goods and people.
The beauty and richness of the territory are taking us to Battaglia Terme, at the foot of the Euganean hills, to learn about the history of river trade, of the spas, of its villas, of its nature.
Our itinerary begins by walking in nature around the village. The route is easy, also suitable for families, in an area of great naturalistic and landscape value for biodiversity, which developed also thanks to the abandonment of the mining activity of the Monte Croce quarry. Views, colors and good company will make the excursion pleasant and rewarding.
A nice stop awaits us in a typical “osteria” of the village and then we will continue with a “renewed spirit” to discover Battaglia Terme.
We are looking forward to showing you the historical richness of this area in the middle of nature!
