Explore the fascinating islands of Murano, Burano e Torcello, in the Venetian lagoon: a boat cruise around the historical centre of Venice learning what part these islands played in shaping the city’s history. We will first visit Murano, known all over the world for its long tradition of glassblowing. Inside of an old furnace you will see masterpieces taking shape in front of your eyes. We will then proceed to the nortern part of the lagoon to visit Burano, a beautiful island famous for its laces and the outstanding bright colours of the fishermen’s houses.
In the afternoon, we will walk through the quite streets of Torcello island, still paved or gravel and discover the first Venetian civilization settlements, before returning to Venice.Â
